New Generator cover installed August 1/2 2005.... painted with GE paint used on exterior electric devices.... supposed to last "years and years".

(we'll see) The Generator from Winnco had 118.3 hours on it. The screws used were stainless steel (original case had zinc screws which rusted out pretty much completely. The base on which the generator sits and to which the case is connected is the old one... it was brushed to remove as much rust as possible and the replacement case was attached to it and the base given a coat of the paint to match the new case.

[As an aside, we are replacing all outdoor a/c units also this week... they survived 5 years.... cost $12,400.... a fun summer]
